The Customer Hub section of an account page allows you to create a shareable layout for your customer contacts. This layout has a select set of modules that are most relevant for customer visibility—supporting mutual accountability on key business outcomes and next steps.
Suggested uses
Consider the following use cases:
- Create alignment with key stakeholders on a success plan for the long-term success of your relationship
- Outline a robust onboarding or implementation plan with todos, guides, and milestones to reach the first point of value quickly
- Keep an open line of communication async of real-time progress and business wins for busy executives
Create a customer hub layout
A customer hub layout is unique to each customer (one per account). Once configured, the layout is intended to be shared with the account's stakeholders (external to Catalyst).
You are responsible for restricting the data in this layout as necessary.
- Open the account-level view for one of your accounts.
- In the Customer Hub section, click Configure Layout.
- Either click Create New Layout, or choose to duplicate from an existing layout.

Duplicate: Select another account with a customer hub layout to duplicate; you will be saved as the creator of the duplicated layout.
- Add from the available modules for customer hub layouts:
- Fields
- Goals (marked as external)
- Historical trends
- Segments (contact and task objects only; task activity and comments are not visible in the guest experience)
- Use dividers and module groups to arrange modules and provide important context.
- Enter a name for the layout, and click Save Layout. Ensure only data you want to make visible to the customer is included.
Invite guests to view the customer hub layout
Guest access to a customer hub layout is available via invitation. You can invite existing contacts on the account.
You can preview the guest experience from Options (...) Preview as Guest.
- From the Options button (...) on the customer hub layout, click Invite Guests.
- Search for the contact(s) on the account you want to invite.
- Click Save.
Invited guests receive an email notification. Guests may be required to authenticate with Catalyst using SSO (Google or Enterprise/Microsoft).
Once authenticated, guests have read-only access to the guest layout.
