Expanded cross-object queries with contact data
Cross-object queries on additional objects now support contact fields, giving you more flexibility when building segments and playbook entry conditions.
Previously, cross-object queries starting from an additional object could only reference account fields. You can now also query contact fields, as long as the additional object has a primary reference mapped to the contact object (see steps).
Use case: Create a segment that shows all community activities (additional object) where the associated community member is a current CAB participant (contact field).
When starting queries from the contact object, include a parameter for [additional object filter] is present in order to return only exact matches from the additional object. Without that filter, the results may include contacts that don’t exist in the additional object. Learn more.
This enhancement enables more precise targeting and richer lifecycle automation across segments and playbooks.
