Configure a Calls integration

Who can use this feature?

A Calls integration allows you to automatically send call recordings from Gong or Chorus to Catalyst. This integration exposes a "Calls" object within Catalyst.

Once connected, your Catalyst teams can:

  1. Use the Explore Data page to view all calls for all accounts (Calls object)
  2. Click into a call record to see details, and easily convert the call's "next steps" and "call summaries" into tasks and notes
  3. View all calls on an account or contact object-level default view (Calls), or layouts that contain segment modules (Calls object)
  4. See call records on the activity timeline of an account
  5. Create calculated fields from the calls object, and leverage for account health or playbook automations

Connect your Gong account

You must be a Gong administrator to connect your company's Gong account with Catalyst.

  1. In Gong, create an access key and secret key.
  2. In Catalyst,  navigate to Settings > Integrations.
  3. Click + Add next to the Gong integration.
  4. Copy and paste the API access key and secret key from Gong into the inputs within Catalyst.
  5. Click Authenticate.

If the authentication fails to configure, try disconnecting the integration. Repeat the steps to add the integration again, this time with a new set of keys.

Once connected and data is flowing, a new Calls object is available from within Data Explorer.

Connect your Chorus account

You must be a Chorus administrator to connect your company's Chorus account with Catalyst.

  1. In Chorus, create an API token (Settings > Personal Settings > API Access).

Chorus admins or users with elevated permissions can see "API Access" from the personal settings page. The key enables organization-level control.

  2. In Catalyst,  navigate to Settings > Integrations.
  3. Click + Add next to the Chorus integration.
  4. Copy and paste the API token from Chorus into the input within Catalyst.
  5. Click Authenticate.

Once connected and data is flowing, a new Calls object is available from within Data Explorer.

How a Calls integration works

Once connected, the integration job runs hourly for incoming calls.
