Introducing playbook "field update" actions
Unlock a deeper level of efficiency by automating field value changes in playbook sequencing. Field update actions allow you to dynamically update a field value, without requiring your teams to manually update data.
Use cases may include:
- Assign a new CSM during account transitions based on intelligent criteria
- Set a new Kickoff date to “X” number of days after a new product is purchased
- Update the Last Contacted date following a transactional email
Within the Flow Builder, you can add a field update action anywhere in the flow. Field updates are available for the selected object type for the playbook.
The moment a playbook action criteria is met for a given account, opportunity, contact or additional object record, Catalyst begins processing the field update change. The time it takes to process may differ depending on the type of field and the new value. Learn more ➡
