Who can use this feature?
- All roles with access level "limited" or higher
- Available on all plans
Find records quickly using search. Catalyst supports two search options:
Global search
The global search bar is available at the top of any Catalyst screen. Searchable objects include:
- Accounts
- Opportunities
- Contacts
- Notes
- Tasks
- Segments
- Additional object records
- Click inside the global search bar.
If available, the most recently viewed items appear (up to 4). - Begin typing. Catalyst searches records from across the platform; results that contain the text entered appear. Results will be grouped together by type (e.g., accounts, contacts, segments, notes, etc.)
Accounts, opportunities, and contacts search by the name of the record. Notes and tasks search within the body.
- Click on a search result to navigate to the specific record.
Inline search
The inline search bar is available on segment or table views. Catalyst searches within the specific view or table; results that contain the text entered appear.
- In the segment library, use the inline search bar to find specific segments or segment folders
- On the Explore Data page or any segment, use the inline search bar to find a record by keyword, searching across all fields
