Explore data and view segments

Who can use this feature?

  • All roles with access level "limited" or higher
  • Available on all plans

The Data page allows you to view lists of records related to an object in Catalyst. Users with access level "standard" or higher can also create and save segments, manage segment folders, and update data in segments. Learn more.

What objects are available?

Catalyst supports the following objects.

Availability of some objects / data depend on the object configuration and integrations set up by your Catalyst administrator.

What is a segment?

Segments represent a meaningful grouping of records that you can reference throughout Catalyst, again and again (e.g., "All Accounts," "Accounts in Onboarding," or "My Notes"). Use segments to power modules within dashboard layouts or export to CSV for external usage.

  1. To view all records related to an object, use the Explore Data page and browse between objects.
  2. To refine the list and see only records that match specific criteria, open a saved segment from the library, recently viewed, or favorites list; or add filters to refine the results.

The Data page provides quick access to all segments.

Default Set any segment or folder as a default to appear first whenever you open the Data page. Only one default can be set at a time.
