Manage your notifications inbox

Who can use this feature?

  • All roles with access level "limited" or higher
  • Available on all plans

The Notifications page displays a live feed of important changes and events happening with your team's accounts.

View notifications

Notifications batch every 5 minutes and are grouped based on source and type of notification; errors are alerted as they occur.

  1. Click the Notifications sidebar. The bell icon in the indicates new activity:
    • Inbox (yellow dot): Unread notifications in your inbox
    • Errors (red dot): Salesforce field level validation error has occurred when making field updates
  2. Optionally filter the notifications by type and date range.

    When filtered to just Tasks, you can add a source filter to further specify manual, playbook, and/or journey tasks.

Mark as read

A purple dote appears to the right of unread notifications. You can mark a notification as read in two ways:

  1. Click the Mark as read icon (eye)
  2. Click on the notification

Banner notifications may also appear on any Catalyst screen to indicate real-time activity (e.g., users who assigned you a task, commented, mentioned you, etc.). Clicking on these banner notifications will bring you to the related screen and mark the notification as read. Grouped notifications, however, will bring you to the Notifications page and will not mark the notification as read.

Archive notifications

Archiving notifications moves them from the Inbox tab to the Archived tab. You can archive notifications in two ways:

  1. Click the Archive icon (folder)
  2. Click Archive all to move all notifications from your inbox
